I've been ‘employed’ in the television industry since 1991.
Giving up weekends as a young teen to help in the newsroom and on OB’s for a few years before that.
I Started at Tas Tv in Hobart. Being a regional station you were trained to be able to cover all rolls.
My first job was despatch clerk then moved through Commercial Production audio and then into Video Tape.
Within 3 years I was a senior Video Tape editor.
I moved to Southern Cross TV as the Snr Production Editor for 6yrs.
Editing everything from commercials, locally produced shows, news stories
and Targa Tasmania’s daily news telecasts and documentaries.
In 2001 I made the move to Melbourne to explore the freelance industry.
I have since established myself as a highly regarded Senior Offline Editor,
I am continually employed with major production companies who know
I always meet deadlines with the best possible outcome.
I've edited on 2 inch machines,1 inch, umatic, bvu, betacam and onto today's Avids, FCP7, FCPX and Premier.
